Chinese word mark with same putonghua pinyin but different characters

Will CTMO consider Chinese words with the same putonghua pinyin but different characters (words) the same and hence reject trademark application in the same class? Thanks

It won't be rejected. Chinese words were the first recognition in China, as long as the Chinese are different, even if the pinyin is the same, there will be no confusion.
